Carl Nieiderer is also the author of Cardboard: An Illustrated Fiction, a book about design, the way we perceive visual stimuli and the book is full of illustrations by Carl Niederer. It was publshed by Oldtown Printers, Waldport, 1999. The Siuslaw Public Library has a copy on their bookshelves.
