Burd
hous occurred after creating Pelican. It seemed like there were more
critters that had long tails than long necks so I just turned it down
side up. And being of a lazy nature and even less familiar with tools
then than now, I figured that rather than try to formulate a head for
the silly critter….well, you see the results. I had a piece of
wood that looked like a tongue, some glasses, marbles for focus, a pink
eraser and a few sunflower seeds to tempt the birdies. I scrawled "burd
hous" across his back as though cat had done it hisself. One of
our daughters grabbed it and ran but I can make similar I expect.
