Peli-can
Junk Art Sculpture (Sold)
Peli-can
started from the calf mask and a love for pelicans. The gas can with it's
long neck figured prominently from the first. The difficult part was finding
the right piece of driftwood for the beak. Legs, tail and all wing bits
were also driftwood. Oar locks proved handy for feet because they were
the right shape more or less and I was able to screw them through the
base (a barbecue shelf) to the legs so it would stand securely. |
