Rosie Hill - Altered Objects, Altered Books, Art Journaling and Art Trading Cards

After completing three careers, librarian, teacher, and art gallery owner, Rosie Hill has retreated to her studio above the garage to dabble in any art form that captures her interest: altered books, collage, assemblage, artist trading cards, art journals, etc. On any day she can be found doing the mess-around with paints, inks, papers, glues, polymer clay, rubber stamps, beads, charms, fabrics, fibers and more. Her work has been published in Somerset Studio and The Rubber Stamper magazines. A recently completed assemblage will be featured in the winter issue of Art Doll Quarterly.

She is a bona fide pack rat and has amassed such a huge collection of art materials that she has created a second studio, “Rosie’s Art Cafe.” In a fun and inspiring environment, she shares her materials and enthusiasm for altered art by hosting classes and workshops.

She enjoys her position as crew chief for husband Greg’s vintage race car team, Small Balls Racing. And she loves her role as dogmom to two bouncing, boisterous Bouviers.
