Some of my
earliest memories are of drawing while listening to those
wonderful old radio shows. Somehow, it's harder to do
while watching TV ...Through the years I have had wonderful
teachers and workshops.
Attending the
San Francisco Academy of Art to study printmaking with
Yasu Esaki is at the top of my list as well as great watercolor
classes with Richard Lang and workshops with Barbara Nechis
and Zoltan Szabo.
Moving to Florence
in 2001 has been very encouraging for me, and I feel lucky
to live in a community with such high interest in art
and so many great venues for artists to show their work.
