For many years I taught and painted in the S.F. Bay area. Now I am living in the beautiful city of Florence, Oregon. I paint with Monday Painters and am a member of FACA and the Watercolor Color Society of Oregon (WSO).

Much of our past we know through the eyes of artists. I painted a watercolor of mail boxes that are no longer there—when they were destroyed,, I knew that I was an artist. I have taken many college art classes and workshops with Jan Kunz, Frank Webb, Barbara Nice, Lian Zhen, Patrick Fanning, Judy Greenberg, Alex Powers and Katheryn Davis to further my knowledge and understanding of this difficult art form.

Approximately seven years ago, after I had retired from teaching, I chose watercolor painting as my medium—put on my artist's "smock" and have never looked back. It is challenging work to paint, but for me it is not work, but pure pleasure. I love to paint.

I hope the joy I feel is reflected in my works, and that you will enjoy viewing them.

Thank you for visiting my site.
